Definition of Crime Against Nature
While each of these charges have distinguishing elements, in order to be convicted of one of the above charges a prosecutor must prove beyond a reasonable doubt the defendant committed one of the acts described in LA. R.S. 14.89 which includes, but is not limited to incest by marriage or sex, sex under actual or threat of force with a victim described in LA. R.S. 14:89.1.
